Mrs. Muriel Sampson, 44, of Beaverton, died Saturday, Dec. 10 at Traverse City 
after an illness of five years. The former Miss Muriel Cottrell, she was born 
Aug. 12, 1911 in Beaverton and had resided here most of her life. On Nov. 27, 
1928, she was married to William Sampson at Pontiac.
   Surviving are her husband; one son, Richard Dean Sampson of Clare; three 
daughters, Mrs. (Continued on Page 2) Elaine Fackler, Jeanette and Sharon of 
Mt. Pleasant; one granddaughter Linda Ann Sampson of Clare; her mother, Mrs. 
Della Morris; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Methner, Mrs. Ola Hildenbrand, Mrs. 
Marion Snyder and Mrs. Margaret Woodruff, all of Beaverton.
   Funeral services were held Monday at the Beaverton Presbyterian Church with 
burial in the Dale cemetery. The Rev. John K. Osborn and Paul Mueller 
officiated.
