MARY SCHEELE Services for Mary Scheele, 83, were held on Sunday afternoon from St. Paul's Lutheran church, wiht the Rev. H. F. Brietzke officiating. Burial was made in the Dale cemetery. A prayer service was held at the Hall Funeral Home at 1:30. Mrs. Scheele was born in Germany on August 17, 1866. She was married to Henry Scheele, who preceded her in death about five years ago. They came to Gladwin from Detroit 30 years ago, operating a farm in Beaverton township. Mrs. Scheele died at the home of her son, Ernest, in Beaverton township, on Thursday, February 16. Surviving are one son, Ernest; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Longstreth, of Beaverton; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Fred Norton, and one sister, Mrs. Sophie Riebersal, both of Woodburn, Indiana. Three sons and two daughters are deceased.
