RITES HELD FOR P. G. SCHNEIDER

   Services were held Sunday, for Phillip G. Schneider, 92, of Beaverton, who 
died Friday following a short illness. Mr. Schneidner was born on Dec. 11, 
1869 in Germany. He had been a resident of Gladwin County for 65 years, coming 
to Beaverton in 1896 to farm. He was married to the former Maried Bobb in New 
York. She preceded him in death in 1939.
   Survivors include three sons, George, of Beaverton, Alfred, of Flint, and 
Francis, of Detroit; one daughter, Mrs. Sophia Reid, of Purdy Mo.; eight 
grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Three daughters also preceded him in 
death. Services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Gordon Showers officiating. Burial was in the Beaverton cemetery.
