RITES TODAY FOR FRANK T. SCOONEAS

   Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral 
Home for Frank T. Scooneas, 76, who died at his home in Beaverton on Monday 
after an illness of three months. The Rev. Franz Ollerman officiated and 
burial was in New Hope Cemetery.
   A retired Dow Chemical worker, he was born in Detroit on Dec. 17, 1886, and 
had lived in Gladwin County 33 years. He was married to the former Hattie 
Dundas, who survives him, on June 15, 1907, in Detroit. 
   Other survivors include two sons, Francis, of Detroit, and Robert, of 
Midland; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Hart, of Detroit, Mrs. Dorothy Polasek, of 
Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Margaret Rapson, of Lansing; nine grandchildren and 
13 great grandchildren.
