Mrs. Frances A. Searson, 55, 291 Wackerly, Sanford, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 
in the Flint Osteopathic Hospital following a short illness. Born in Towanda, 
Kan., on February 9, 1925, she moved to Sanford five years ago from Beaverton. 
The former Frances Reed, she was married to Thomas Searson September 16, 1946, 
in Towanda.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by 3 sons, Thomas E. and Ronald of 
Flint and Merton of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. James (Polly) Ryan of Birch 
Run; 3 brothers, James, Merton and George and one sister Mrs. Lara Mae 
Thompson, all of Kansas; and 8 grandchildren. 
   Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Henry List officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
