Seymour, 65, a resident of Gladwin county for 30 years, passed away July 19, after an illness of two years. Mr. Seymour was born March 27, 1891 in Bay County, and married the former Mary A. Blodgett on March 17, 1912 in Beaverton. He has been an ordained minister for 38 years and a member of the R.L.D.S. Church of Beaverton for 42 years. He was a carpenter as a sideline. Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sons, Lawrence E. of Livonia and Roy D. of Corunna; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Rynard of Sugar Island; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd of Mt. Pleasant, George of Eau Claire; Fred of Defiance, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Landon of Wilford, Ark. and Mrs. Viva Cain of Flint. Four sons and one daughter preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Sunday, at 2:30 p.m. at the Beaverton Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the Elder Lewis Grice of Midland officiating, assisted by the Elder Alvin Pendleton.
