EMERY SHARP

   Emery L. Sharp, 78, of Beaverton, died Monday, Aug. 4, in the Midland 
Hospital Center following a long illness. Born in Gladwin County on May 24, 
1902, he moved to Beaverton in November 1936. Mr. Sharp operated a service 
station for many years and also served on the Gladwin County Road Commission 
Board for two terms. He was married to former Anna Morse on April 22, 1922, in 
Gladwin. She preceded him in death on December 21, 1969.
   Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Olan (Arlene) Yager of Beaverton, Mrs. 
Zoylus (Marvella) Munter of Sedona, Ariz. and Mrs. Lawrence (Ora Lee) Sturgeon 
of Phoniex, Ariz.; one son, Vernon of Gladwin; 7 grandchildren and 9 great 
grandchildren. Services will be held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall 
Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Harold Russell will officiate and 
burial will be in the Beaverton Cemetery.
