RITES HELD FOR MRS. ADA SMITH

   Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home 
for Mrs. Ada Lillian Smith, 71, who died in Brantford, Ontario on Tuesday, 
June 5. The Rev. Henry C. Hall officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. 
   Born on August 8, 1890, in Wingham, Ontario, the former Ada Lillian Ritchie 
was married to Archie Depew Smith on June 8, 1920, in Brantford. He preceded 
her in death on October 10, 1961. A resident of Gladwin County since 1951, 
Mrs. Smith moved to Flint in November, last year.
   Surviving her is a son, Thompson, of Mt. Morris; a sister, Miss Annie 
Ritchie, of Brantford; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
