SERVICES SATURDAY FOR ALBERT SMITH

   Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Beaverton Presbyterian 
Church for Albert H. Smith, 84, well-known Beaverton resident, who died 
Wednesday at his home there. The Rev. E. S. Hollinger of the Brethren Church 
and Rev. Donald Sailor of the Beaverton Methodist Church officiated at the 
services and burial was in the Dale cemetery.
   A carpenter by trade, Mr. Smith was born in Maple Grove, Michigan, on 
December 19, 1859. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Asch and Mrs. 
Hazel McKimmy, and one son, Percy Smith, all of Beaverton; and one sister, 
Mrs. E. N. Case, Midland. Mrs. Smith preceded her husband in death last April. 
They had been residents of Beaverton for the past 45 years.
