Wilma Smith, 59, of 1299 Badger Rd., Beaverton, died Friday, Oct. 26, in the 
Midland Hospital Center after a long illness. Born in Gladwin County April 17, 
1920, she was a senior instrument handler in the Midland Hospital operating 
room until retiring in February. The former Wilma Henry, she was married to 
Floyd E. Smith June 7, 1939, in Beaverton. He preceded her in death on January 
22, 1979.
   Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Brian (Carol) King of Beaverton and Mrs. 
Frank (Barbara) Hamilton of Midland 2 brothers, Lawrence Henry of Flint and Ed 
Henry of Bay City; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A daughter, 
Marlene, preceded her in death in 1964.
   Rites were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Henry List officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
