Funeral services will take place this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Dale Methodist church, with the Rev. Donlad Sailor officiating. A prayer service at the residence will be held at 1:30. Burial will be in the Dale cemetery. Mr. Snyder was born on February 16, 1864 in Fulton, Ohio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Snyder. In 1886 he was married to Julia Ann Ferguson, in Ohio, who preceded him in death in 1944. Mr. Snyder's life work was farming, 58 years of which he spent in Tobacco township on the same farm which he and his wife cleared when they first came to the county. Surviving are four sons, Clarence and Welcome Snyder, of Flint; Hobart Snyder, of Detroit; Theodore Snyder, of Beaverton; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Cox, of Detroit; Miss Elizabeth Snyder of Saginaw; Mrs. Myrtle Perkins of Flint; 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; also one brother, Theodore Snyder, of Ohio.
