Sept. 20, 1928 was a happy day for Welcome and Beatrice Snyder because on that 
day a little girl was born to them whom they named Florence. For 18 months and 
8 days she lived an active joyous life being a joy and pride to her brother 
Leo and sister Geraldine, as well as to her parents. She made her way into the 
hearts of her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, too, so that it was a 
cruel hurt to them when she died on the evening of March 28, 1930, at her 
home. A life even as short as this one, is not lived in vain, when it brings 
happiness to the home it was in. There will be a vacancy...
