Mrs. Iva D. Snyder, 78, of 1165 Dale Rd., Beaverton, died Friday, April 8, in 
the Clare Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Ida, March 20, 1910, she 
moved to Gladwin County in 1943 from Coleman. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the 
Dale United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau. The former Iva Hecht, she 
was married to Clifford Snyder Dec 31, 1943, in Beaverton. He preceded her in 
death Feb 10, 1986.
     Surviving are one brother, William Hecht of Anderson, Ind., and several 
nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Norman, Elmer and Harry, preceded her in 
death. Rites were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Dale United Methodist 
Church. The Rev. Janet Larner officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. 
Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
