JULIA SNYDER DIES MARCH 22 Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Dale Methodist Church for Mrs. Andrew Snyder who died Wednesday, March 22, at her home in Tobacco township after a few days illness. Julia Ann Ferguson was born July 13, 1866, at Lyons, Ohio, where she lived until after her marriage to Andrew Snyder on March 23, 1886. About a year later they moved to Tobacco township. The Snyders are pioneers of Tobacco township and have many friends in this part of the county. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the WSCS of the Dale Methodist Church. Surviving besides her husband are four sons; Welcome and Clarence of Flint; Hobart of Detroit; and Theodore, at home; Three daughters, Mrs. Eva Cox, of Detroit; Mrs. Myrtle Perkins of Flint; and Miss Elizabeth Snyder, of Saginaw; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Three of the grandsons are serving in the U.S. Army. Services were conducted by the Rev. Donald Sailor. Pallbearers were Percy Sterling, Evart Carrigan, Perry Cowell, Earl Blades, Fuhrman Tremaine and Charles Scoby. Burial was in the Dale cemetery. Those attending the services from away were Theodore Snyder, (a brother of Andrew Snyder), Mrs. Alvin Whiton, Mrs. Fern Mann, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Waldron, all of Lyons, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Snyder and Mr. and Mrs. Len Ferguson, of Lansing.
