Margaret M. (Peg) Snyder, 54, of Beaverton, died suddenly, Sunday, Feb. 28, 
1999 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin. Born Sept. 23, 1944 in 
Chestertown, Md., she lived in Gladwin County since 1991 and previously lived 
in Mayville. Margaret married Larry Snyder, Aug. 24, 1991 in Beaverton. She 
was the township clerk, since 1993, for Tobacco Township, Beaverton. She was 
also a deacon in the R.L.D.S. Church in Beaverton. 
   Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Sandi and husband 
Allen Morgan of Ypsilanti, and Carol and husband Scott Rhodes of Rochester 
Hills: one son, Denny Fox of Freeland; two stepdaughters, Jodi and husband 
Gary Maxwell, and Shari Snyder, all of Beaverton; two brothers, Elmer Thomas 
of S. Williamsport, Pa., and William Thomas of Orland, Fla.; and two 
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Marian Gildersleeve in 
1996.
   Services will be held at 11 a.m. today( Wednesday) at the R.L.D.S. Church, 
Beaverton with High Priest Donn Pendleton officiating. Burial will be in 
Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the 
R.L.D.S. Church in Beaverton.
