The Rev. Lee Long officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. Mrs. Spencer was born in Ohio on Aug. 4, 1895. She had been a resident of Gladwin County for 37 years. She was married to Otis Spencer on Dec. 2, 1935, in Beaverton. Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, Gerald Butler, of Mt. Pleasant; and one daughter, Mrs. Florence Carpenter, of Burbank, Calif.; five step-daughters, Geraldine Williams and Wilma Kushmaul, of Beaverton, Myra Romatz and Lorraine Radigan, of Mt. Clemens, and Madonna Auntz, of Mt. Pleasant; three step-sons, Marvin, of Coleman, Richard, Saginaw, and Otis, of Lake Orion; one sister, Lila Coney, of Gladwin; two brothers, John of Mt. Pleasant, and Nathan, of Clare; 43 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren.
