GRANT SPICER

   Grant Garmon Spicer, 32, passed away Saturday, January 24 at the Saginaw 
County Hospital following a two day illness. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Oran 
Spicer, he was born in Beaverton township October 18, 1920, and had spent most 
of his life there. 
   Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Erma Davis, of Beaverton, 
and Patsy Lee and Barbara at home; a brother, Clair, of Florida; his 
grandfathers, George Spicer and James Winn, of Beaverton. Funeral services 
were conducted today from the Beaverton Church of the Nazerene at 2:00 p.m. 
with the pastor, the Rev. Erma Pierce, officiating. Interment was made in the 
Beaverton cemetery. Pallbearers were Joseph and William Bell, Warner Sites, 
William Welker, Mark and Russell Fackler.
