MAGGIE F. SPICER Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Ferneau Spicer, 70, long-time resident of Beaverton, who died at her home here Tuesday evening after a long illness, were held Saturday afternoon from the home at 2 o'clock. Elder George Burt officiated and the burial was in the Beaverton cemetery. Mrs. Spicer was born September 4, 1868, and had lived on a farm two miles west of here for the past 30 years. She moved to her home in the city three years ago. Surviving are her husband, George; two sons, Frank and Oren both of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs Ilo Nun of Coleman; eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Treese of Paulding, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Suchers of Napoleon, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Becker of Marine City; Arvo Nurmi of Midland; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carter and Mrs. Ed Cookson of Coleman.
