Ernest H. Stech, 74, of 4277 Lake Drive, All-Bright Shores, died suddenly 
Saturday, March 23, at Midland Hospital after only a short illness. Born 
September 16, 1899, in Warren, Ind., he was a retired employee of Sun Oio 
Company. Mr. Stech had been a resident of Gladwin County for the past 38 
years, since 1936, coming here from West Branch. He and the former Moyna T. 
Scott were married March 31, 1923, in South Bend, Ind. He was a member of the 
Beaverton F. & A.M. and the Consistory.
   Surviving are his wife, Moyna; 2 sons, Ernest Jr. of Gary, Ind., and George 
of Midland; one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Rosemary) Siebert fo Midland; a brother, 
Charles of New Jersey, a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Click of Nowata, Okla.; 6 
grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A son, Lowell preceded him in death.
   Services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton, 
with the Rev. Neil Keyes officiating. A Masonic memorial service was held 
Monday evening. Burial was in Billings Township Cemetery.
