SERVICES MONDAY FOR MRS. SARAH STEINHAUS

   Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Steinhaus, 80 year resident of Beaverton, 
who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Scheele, Saturday, November 25, 
were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian church with the Rev. Allen 
Schreur of the L.D.S. church of Gaylord officiating. Sarah Perschbacher was 
born in Carrick, Bruce Co., Ontario, Canada, March 11, 1859. She married Moses 
Steinhause, June 17, 1884.
   They moved to Michigan in 1892. The past 16 years she had lived in 
Beaverton. Mr. Steinhaus died seven years ago last April. Surviving her are 
three sons, Milton of Flint; John and William of Port Huron; and four 
daughters, Mrs. Matilda Sherman, of Cass City; Mrs. Adeline Parker of Elkton; 
Mrs. Ida Scheele and Mrs. Lydia Asch, both of Beaverton and 23 grandchildren. 
Burial was at Beaverton cemetery.
