SERVICES THURSDAY FOR HOWARD STENGER

   Howard Stenger, 62, of Beaverton, died on Sunday, July 6 after a sudden 
illness. Mr. Stenger was born September 12, 1895 in Defiance, Ohio. A veteran 
of World War I, he was a Gladwin county resident from 1909 to 1924 and 1949 to 
1958.
   Survivors include two brothers, Charles and Dewey, of Beaverton, and one 
sister, Mary Reid, of Ironwood. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 
p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Verne Summers officiating. Burial 
will be in the Beaverton cemetery.
