Geraldene F. “Jerry” Stevens , 94, of Clarkston, Michigan passed away Sept. 
11, 2003 at North Oakland Medical Center in Clarkston. She was born on July 
10, 1909 to Jesse and Mildred (Skidmore) Folsom in Lapeer, and married Earl 
Stevens on Oct. 19, 1935 in Vassar. He preceded her in death in 1985. Jerry 
was a homemaker who lived in Oakland County for 19 years, having previously 
lived in Beaverton. She was a member of Williams Lake Church of the Nazarene 
in Waterford, Michigan. 
She is survived by her daughter Kay (Jack) O’Dea of Clarkston; grandchildren 
Renee McClain of Pontiac, Dawn Pniewski of Clarkston and Michael Pniewski of 
Pontiac; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Richardson of Fostoria 
and Helene Brinker of Lapeer; and several nieces and nephews. 
In addition to her husband, Jerry was predeceased by her parents, seven 
brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 15, 2003 at 
Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton with Pastor Daniel Wine officiating. Burial 
took place in Billings Township Cemetery in Beaverton. Visitation was held 
Sunday at the funeral home.
