Edrie C. Swanton, 80, of Beaverton, died Thursday, July 25, 1985, in Midland 
Hospital Center. She was born Dec. 13, 1904, in Beaverton, where she was a 
lifelong resident. The former Edrie C. Brown married John H. Swanton, Dec. 9, 
1922, in Beaverton. He died Nov. 20, 1964.
   She leaves daughters, Maxine Daniels of Coleman, Betty Dailey and Marie 
Sersaw, both of Florida, and Mary Mason of Beaverton; sons, Richard Swanton, 
Loomis Swanton and Lowell Swanton, all of Beaverton; 36 grandchildren; 54 
great grandchildren; and a brother, Leo Brown of Clio.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. 
Burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. Friends may call at the funeral 
home anytime today.
