SWIFT George B. Swift, 75, died this morning at his home in Beaverton. He was well known throughtout the state as the one-armed fidler. Funeral services will take place Sunday, July 1 at two o'clock from the Beaverton Latter Day Saints church. Elder Floyd Burt will officiate and burial will be made in the Beaverton cemetery. Mr. Swift will lie in state at the church from 1 o'clock until the time of the service. Mr. Swift was born on July 27, 1875 in Littly Couley, Pennsylvania. He married Esther Goff on July 3, 1922 in Flint, and moved to Beaverton from there in 1942. Surviving are his wife; one son, Edgar Swift of Flint; two daughters, Florence Russell and Julia Ann McConnell, of Ashtabula, Ohio.
