Gladwin County Record dated 10-09/1985 Column - 4 Page - 2
Caroline G. Sykes, 61, of 110 Knox St., Beaverton, died Saturday, Oct. 5, in 
the Clare Community Hospital following a long illness. Born in Lansing on Dec. 
16, 1923, she came to Gladwin County 3 years ago from Saginaw. Surviving are 4 
sons, Charles of All-Bright Shores, Thomas of Saginaw and Dennis and Keith of 
Detroit; 2 daughters, Mrs. Suzanne Culbertson of Ypsilanti and Mrs. Glenda 
Harris of Gladwin; one sister, Mrs. Janie Fortune of Dearborn Heights; 15 
grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
   Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Aeron Davies officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
