JOHN TRAXLER

   John C. Traxler, 40, of 203 W. Brown St., Beaverton, died Wednesday, Feb. 
1, in the Gratiot Community Hospital following an illness of two years. Born 
in Pontiac on July 5, 1937, he moved to Gladwin County four and a half years 
ago from Union Lake. Mr. Traxler was a self-employed carpenter. He was married 
to the former Delores Rabdeau on November 29, 1958, in Pontiac.
   Surviving are 5 sons, Richard, Randall, David, Gregory and Michael, all at 
home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Traxler of Brooksville, Fla.; 2 brothers, 
Don of Midland and Bob of Union Lake; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Carol Wright of 
Drayton Plains and Mrs. Charlene Tinsler of Detroit.
   Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Clarence Moore officiated and burial was in the Beaverton 
Cemetery.
