Tremain, died July 3 at their home in Tobacco township. She had been a sufferer for a long time with asthma and lung trouble. A husband and one son remain to mourn her loss, beside a large circle of friends, by whom she was held in high esteem. They had resided in Tobacco township many years. Gladwin County Record dated 07-11/1912 Column - 4 Page - 1 Alice A. Noble was born Sept. 28, 1857, near Delta, Ohio and died at her home in Tobacco township, July 3, 1912, aged 54 years, 9 months and 5 days. She was united in marriage to George W. Tremain Dec. 12, 1879. One child was born to them, Jay W. Tremain, who survives his mother. They moved to Michigan from Ohio in 1896, being one of the pioneers of Tobacco township. She united with the Church of Christ Sept. 8, 1897. She leaves to mourn, besides her son and his wife who lived at home a husband, her mother, Mrs. E. N. Noble, two sisters, Mrs. Rebekah Cottrell and Mrs. Jessie Onweller, William H. and James E. Noble of Saginaw, Charles O. Noble of Beaverton besides a host of friends and neighbors.
