SERVICES HELD FOR JAY TREMAINE

   Jay W. Tremaine, 79, of Beaverton, died Thursday following a two week 
illness. Born on Feb. 10, 1882, in Chicago, he had been a resident of Gladwin 
County for more than 60 years. He was married Sept. 28, 1911, to the former 
Adeline Mae Fuhrman in Midland. She preceded him in death on Jan. 25, 1960.
   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Farrow, of GLadwin, and Mrs. Ruth 
Dubiel, of Kawkawlin a son, Fuhrman, of Beaverton; and 14 grandchildren. 
   Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Dale Methodist Church 
with the Rev. Gordon Showers officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
