Penny Sue Tyre, 13, daughter of Gladwin Sheriff's Sgt. and Mrs. Lloyd Tyre of 
Gladwin, died Sunday, March 16, at her home after an illness of four years. 
Born in San Jose, Calif., on September 1, 1961, she moved to Detroit with her 
parents in 1964 and to Gladwin County in 1968. Penny was an 8th grade student 
in the Gladwin Intermediate school and a member of the Round Lake Baptist 
Church.
   Besides her parents, she is survived by four sisters, Terri, Tammy, Lori 
and Kristi, all at home; one brother, Steven, at home; her maternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Casebeer of Gladwin; and paternal 
grandmother, Mrs. Edith Tyre of Beaverton.
