MANUEL VILLARREAL

   Manuel S. Villarreal, 31, of 3609 Pratt Lake Rd., Gladwin, died suddenly 
Friday, Jan. 1, 1993, in a mobile home fire. He was born in Alma on Aug. 15, 
1961, and came to Gladwin County 18 years ago from San Antonio, Texas. Mr. 
Villarreal graduated from Beaverton High School and attended the Beaverton 
Church of God. He was a surveyar for Marv Holler Surveying in Gladwin. Mr. 
Villarreal and the former Michelle Merritt were married on March 4, 1990, in 
Beaverton.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kiona at home; his parents, 
George and Darlene Villarreal of Beaverton; 2 brothers, his twin, Samuel of 
Olivet and Duane of Beaverton; 3 sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Colvin and Valarie 
Villarreal of Beaverton and Mrs. Olivia Sibley of Zeeland; grandparents, Mrs. 
Connie Villarreal of San Antonio, Texas and Louis and Edith Burtch of 
Beaverton.
   Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. Pastor Elwyn MacDonald and Pastor Harold Owens officiated and burial 
was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
