Gladwin County Record
Helen L. Vollmer, 62, of Gladwin died March 16, 2006 at her home in Hay 
Township following a long illness. She was born in Detroit on Aug. 28, 1943 to 
Webb J. and Mary Ellen (Lindsey) Gibson. She lived in Gladwin County since 
1974, previously residing in Davisburg. She was the Owner and Operator of 
White Star Bar. She was a member of Gladwin Eastern Stars and Charter member 
of Clarkston Eagles. Surviving are her daughter, Deanna (Richard) Couturier of 
Gladwin; her granddaughter, Lindsey Couturier of Gladwin; and her sister, 
Patricia (Lee) Peacock of Birmingham. She was predeceased by her husband, 
Roger Lee, in 1997, and her parents. 
A memorial service was held Friday, March 17 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin 
with pastor Henry List officiating.
