Alice Pearl Ward, 91, of Midland and formerly of Gladwin, died Thursday, Nov. 
2, 200 at Tendercare Nursing Facility following a lingering illness. Born Aug. 
1, 1909 in S. Whitley, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice 
(Lindower) Rau. Alice married Ralph Ward, Sept. 21, 1935 in Midland. He 
preceded her in death in 1965. She was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian 
Church in Midland.
   Surviving are one son, Daryl and wife Sally of Coleman; one daughter, 
Martha Kay Richey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
   Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dale Cemetery, 
Beaverton with Rev. David Koski officiating. Sisson Funeral Home was in charge 
of the arrangements.
