Gladwin County Record dated 12-12/1984 Column - 3 Page - 2
Amanda Weinholdt, 92, formerly of Gladwin, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, in 
Greenridge Nursing Home, Big Rapids. Born in North Carolina July 20, 1892, she 
came to Gladwin County in 1916. She was married to Julius Weinholdt Jan. 8, 
1916, in Gladwin. He preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1960, in Beaverton.
   Surviving are 2 nephews, Sherman Perry of Gladwin and Edison Perry of 
Independence, Mo.; and one niece, Eva Newman of Clare. Rites were held Friday 
at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. Elder Leon Methner officiated 
and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
