Gladwin County Record dated 05-13/1981 Column - 4 Page - 2
Roy Wentworth, 70, of  5079 Fike Rd., Coleman, died suddenly Saturday, May 9, 
in the Midland Hospital Center. Born in Berrien County on July 25, 1910, he 
had spent most of his life in Gladwin County. Beginning in the early 1920's he 
hauled milk in the Beaverton area and then owned Wentworth Trucking. Mr. 
Wentworth retired in 1965.
   Surviving are one son, John of Midland; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Burgett of 
Florida; fried and companion, Hannah Pierson of Coleman; 2 grandchildren and 
one great grandchild. A daughter, Barbara Wentworth preceded him in death in 
1935.
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Dale 
Cemetery.
