Born at Silver Lake, Ont. on March 28, 1883, to William and Mary Jane Wesley, he had lived in Gladwin County 83 years. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Wesley was married to the former Frieda Dunning on Nov. 18, 1914, at Sugar Rapids. She preceded him in death on April 23, 1958. Surviving are four sons, Chester, of Pewano, Ronald, of Mt. Clemens, Donald, of Bay City and Harry of Beaverton; six daughters, Virgilene Monk and Irene Scott, of Saginaw; Jesse Keeley and Viola Corbett, of Beaverton, Bessie Burke, Alliance, Ohio, and Dorothy Ackerman, of Detroit; one brother, Robert in Detroit; 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon Showers officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
