ROBERT WESSEL SR.

   Robert Eugene Wessel Sr., 45, of 309 W. Brown St., Beaverton, died Sunday, 
March 25, 1920, at his home after a long illness. Born in Jackson, July 10, 
1944, he moved to Gladwin County 10 years ago from Mesa, Ariz. He was a member 
of the Ross Lake Rods and Relics Car Association. Mr. Wessel and the former 
Nancy Higgins, were married March 6, 1965, in Jackson.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Robert Jr. and Joshua of 
Beaverton and Anthony of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Rusty 
(Kimberly) Murphy of Midland and Tammy Wessell of Florida; 2 sisters, Patty 
Landers of Alaska and Sue Manford of Arizona; and 3 grandchildren.
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. Pastor Wesley Hoggard officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery.
