Mrs. Agnes A. West, 91, of 4245 Blakely Rd., Beaverton, died Friday, March 6, 
1992, in the Mid-Michigan Regional Center, Gladwin, after a long illness. Born 
in Joplin, Mo., July 24, 1900, she moved to Gladwin County from West Virginia 
in 1937. She was a member of the Beaverton Order of Eastern Stars 386, the 
Dale Ladies Aid and an Avon representative for several years. The former Agnes 
Hansen, she was married to Joseph West on April 28, 1928, in Kermit, Texas. 
   Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Jack of Midland and a foster 
son, Gene (Bud) West of Lake Orion; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 
Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Gene West officiated and burial was in the Tobacco Township 
Cemetery.
