SERVICES FRIDAY FOR MRS. WHETSTONE

   Funeral services will be held at the Beaverton Methodist Church Friday at 2 
p.m. for Mrs. George Whetstone, 69, who died at her home in Grout township 
Tuesday. The Rev. Chambers, of West Branch, will officiate and burial will be 
in the Dale cemetery.
   Clara Merri hill was born on September 24, 1874, in Antwerp, Ohio. She and 
her husband have made their home in Gladwin county for the past 33 years. 
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Lester Hill, and one grandson. A 
son died in infancy.
