Caroline E. White, 87, of Beaverton, died Tuesday, June 11, 1996 at her home 
following a short illness. Born May 18, 1909 in Indianapolis, Ind., she was a 
member of the Dale Methodist Church Women's Society. The former Caroline Eddy 
married E. C. (Jack) White Aug. 4, 1940 in Indianapolis, Ind. He preceded her 
in death in 1952.
   Surviving are 5 daughters, Nona and husband Joseph Eisenlohr of Beaverton, 
Sharon and husband Leonard Killian of Coleman, Ruth Ann and husband Larry 
Gerow of Beaverton, Kay and husband Dan Bailer of Coleman, and Sue White of 
Beaverton; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in 
death by a sister, Margaret Kitson and a brother, Fred Eddy.
   Rites will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 13 from the Dale United 
Methodist Church. The Rev. David Stewart will officiate and burial will be in 
the Dale Cemetery, Tobacco Township. Friends may call at the Hall Funeral 
Home, Beaverton chapel today (Wednesday) from 4 to 9 p.m. Those planning an 
expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Dale Methodist 
Church Memorial Fund.
