Miss White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman White, was found east of her parents' home about 4:15 p.m. by her sister, Mrs. Barbara Shumway, Sheriff Walter Scott said. A .410 shotgun was near her body, he added. She had left her home earlier saying that she was going hunting, Scott said. Her brother, David, told officers he heard a shot about 9:30 p.m. Miss White was born on Jan. 4, 1952, in Gladwin. Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers, David and Larry, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Linda Poole and Mrs. Barbara Shumway, of Rt. 2, Beaverton; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William White, of Beaverton and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, of Edenville. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Neil G. Keyes will officiate and burial will be in the Billings Cemetery.
