Born April 2, 1928 in Midland, she was the daughter of James and Cecilia (Dziadosz) Foster. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. Aileen married Wayne Whitman, July 18, 1946 in Midland. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was owner/operator of the Maine St. Cafe in Beaverton, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Beaverton Community Church. She is survived by four sons, John and wife Cheryl, and Dwayne and wife Billie, all of Beaverton, Robert and wife Linda of Lenaxa, Kans., and William and wife Ann of Clare; one daughter, Wanda and husband Trusty Bolton of Anchorage, Ark.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Genevieve Grant of Salin, Lorraine Barstow of Taylor, Marilyn Garrison of Hope, and Eunice Rytlewski of Owosso; three brothers, Willard Foster of Arkansas, and Frank and Warren Foster, both of Beaverton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and John Foster; and one grandson, James Edward Bolton. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton with Elder Tom Rodabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton.
