James H. Whitney, 77, of Albright Shores, Beaverton, died Dec. 2, 1983 at Bay 
Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born Feb. 27, 1906 in Pinconning. Mr. Whitney was retired from Buick 
Motor Division, Flint and has lived in Gladwin County since 1966.

He married the former Gertrude Qkoniewski on April 20, 1931. She died on 
Aug.15, 1978.
He leaves son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Marjorie Whitney of Millington; 
eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Gladwin Chapel of Hall Funeral 
Home with burial in Billings Township Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Hall Funeral Home.
