Robert H. Williams, died Wednesday, March 18, 1998 from heart failure, which 
resulted in a car accident. Born March 7, 1938, he was the son of Harold E. E. 
and Dessa I. (Utley) Williams. He was a lifetime resident of Beaverton and 
past president and coach of Beaverton Little League. Robert married the 
Marlene M. Smith, June 8, 1958 in Beaverton. She preceded him in death in 
1964. He then married Marlene A. Hildenbrand, July 16, 1966 in Beaverton.
   Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Deborah and husband 
William Mason, and Melissa and husband Wayne Hinrichs of Emporia, Kan.; three 
sons, Matthew and fiance Pamela Paex, and Timothy and wife Deborah, all of 
Beaverton, and Paul and friend Beck Matlock of Fredericksbury, Va; two 
brothers, Lawrence and wife Carol of Jackson, and Durwin and wife Christine of 
Rives Junction; one sister, Jeanette and husband Ralph McKimmy of Beaverton; 
13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Irene in 1964; his parents; 
and one sister, Lillis Sandy Holland in 1989. Services were held at 1 p.m. 
Monday at the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel with Elder Jerry Methner 
officiating. Burial was in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery.
