HAZEL WINN

   Mrs. Hazel H. Winn, 80, of 110 Knox St., Beaverton, died Friday, April 23, 
at Bay Medical Center following a short illness. Born in Elba Township, Lapeer 
County, on March 7, 192, she came to Gladwin County 51 years ago from Flint. 
She was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church and the Senior 
Citizens Travel Club. The former Hazel Graves, she was married to James E. 
Winn on September 3, 1919, in Gladwin. He preceded her in death on December 
19, 1946.
   Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Eunice) Payne, Mrs. Arthur 
(Stella Jane) Munger and Mrs. Wayne (Donna Belle) Kinne of Beaverton and Mrs. 
Wallace (Hazelann) Prall of Onaway; two brothers Roy of Beaverton and Norman 
of Gladwin; 3 sisters, Mrs. Zetta Fradenburg and Mrs. Bessie Fenton of 
Beaverton and Florence Gilman of Bay City; 16 grandchildren and 18 great 
grandchildren. A son, James Jr., preceded her in death in 1945 in World War II.
   Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. form the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch and the Rev. Wesley Hoggard officiated and burial 
was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
