WINN Mrs Mary Jane Winn, 83, passed away at her home in Beavertn on Thursday, May 4. She has been in ill health for some time, and had her eight children at her bedside at the time of her death. Mary Jane Robinson was born in Yorkshire, England on February 3, 1867. She came to the United States with her parents as a child of two. On August 1, 1892, she married James Winn in Delaware, Ohio. They moved to Gladwin county in 1911. Surviving are her husband, James; one son, George Winn, of Clare county; seven daughters, Mrs Josephine Parks of Delaware, Ohio, Mrs. Marie Williams of Hermansville, Mrs. Emma Wagar of Midland, Mrs. Anna Broka and Mrs. Olive Spicer, both of Beaverton, and Mrs. Clare Brown and Mrs. Mary Price, of Gladwin; 47 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren; one brother, George Robinson, of Delaware, Ohio. Two daughters and one son preceded their mother in death. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon from the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Erman Pierce officiating. Burial was made in the Beaverton cemetery. Her grandsons acted as pallbearers for Mrs. Winn.
