TOBACCO RESIDENT BURIED TUESDAY

   Frederick Wirchenko, 67, died at the home of Arnold Knake in Tobacco 
township on Saturday, January 24. Mr. Wirchenko was born in Russia on May 4, 
1880. He came to Gladwin county from Wayne about eight years ago, and operated 
a farm. 
   Surviving are one brother in British Columbia; also other relatives still 
residing in Russia. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 
o'clock at the Hall Funeral Home, with John Kris of the Jehovah's Witnesses of 
Saginaw, officiating. Burial was in the Dale cemetery.
