THURSDAY RITES FOR MRS. WIRT

   Mrs. Florence L. Wirt, 59, of Beaverton Township, died Monday at the Clare 
Hospital after a short illness. Born in Eaton County on Aug. 27, 1903, the 
former Florence L. Starkweather was married to Glenn Wirt on Oct. 5, 1956. She 
had been a resident of Gladwin County for seven years, moving here from 
Farwell.
   Surviving are her husband, Glenn; three sons, Bud and Joe Verguson, of 
Portland and Frank, of Belding; five daughters, Mrs. Martha Pixley, of Lake 
Lansing, Mrs. Betty Walker, of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Patricia Perry, of Perry, 
Mrs. Annette Bishop, of Belding, and Mrs. Leotta Miller, of Owosso; a brother, 
Alex, and a sister, Mrs. Rehah Schottle.
   Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. 
The Rev. Charles Wirt will officiate and burial is in Dale Cemetery.
