BEAVERTON LADY PASSES AWAY

   Mrs. Margaret E. Wirt, 71, passed away at her home last Thursday, November 
15. Funeral services were held from the Hall Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon. 
The Rev. John R. Scott of the Gladwin Methodist church officiated and burial 
was in Dale cemetery. Mrs. Wirt was born on December 29, 1879, in Easton 
county. She married Charles Wirt on December 23, 1896 in Ionia. They made 
their home in Beaverton and vicinity since 1900.
   Surviving are her husband; four sons, Glen and Leo of Beaverton, Paul of 
Flint and Dale of Henderson; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Reed of Beaverton, 
Mrs. Marian Wirt of Lansing and Mrs. Nancy Childs of Vermontville; also 17 
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
