SERVICES HELD FOR MARY WOODRUFF

   Mrs. Mary E. Woodruff, 77, of Billings Township, died suddenly Thursday, 
Jan. 16, at her home. Born in Berry County, Ohio, on Dec. 28, 1891, she had 
lived in Gladwin County for the past 71 years. The former Mary Crowell, she 
was married to Earl Woodruff on July 9, 1911, in Billings Township. 
   Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lila Erway of 
Gladwin, Mrs. Nola Spencer, Beaverton, Mrs. Wanda Smith, Gladwin, Mrs Blanche 
Wilson, Pinconning and Mrs. Doris Bock, Estey; four sons, Earl Jr. and Howard 
of Beaverton, Neal of Gladwin adn Jack of Beaverton; four brothers, Lewis of 
Owosso, Enos, John and Frank of Beaverton; three sisters, Mrs Cora PHILLIPS; 
Grand Ledge, Mrs Beatrice Snyder, and Nellie Brushaber, of Beaverton; 34 
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
   Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Billings Missonary Church. The 
Rev. Neil G. Keyes officiated and burial was in the Billings Cemetery. The 
Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
