Wright, 68, of South Albion, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Albion Community Hospital after a long illness. Born in Gladwin County on June 4, 1904, he was a contractor in the iron industry. Mr. Wright had lived in Napoleon, Ohio, Beaverton and for the past seven years in Albion. He was a member of the Napoleon F&AM Lodge and the Coldwater Fraternal Order of Eagels. He was married to the former Hazel Brown on June 12, 1937, in Grayling. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Reader of Gladwin and Mrs. Sunny Lamb of Albion; one sister, Mrs. Lucie Hayward of Quincy; two brothers, Joseph and Wayne of Midland; and eight grandchildren. Rites were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Zina Bennett officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
